Whether you like Salads, wraps, hot sandwiches, burgers, barbecue,po-boys, fried fish or shrimp, and even just a snack to nibble on…this is the place!! Dine in at one of the tables, or enjoy a drink or two while you eat at the bar. Top it all off with homemade desserts and you have lived my friend!!

Very friendly service. The pulled pork sandwich is very good. And the catfish po-boy. They also have desserts that are delicious!

The new place in town. Open three weeks. Really nice interior. Clean and really friendly staff. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty good but the brisket sandwich with grilled sweet peppers was great. Small bar seats about 12. Fun new place to eat or drink.

Very friendly welcome and service! Crab cakes were very tasty and I enjoyed the Broccoli Salad. The side salad I chose was okay. Wish I’d chosen the vinaigrette as the green goddess was just okay for me. Two of our group ordered the smoked brisket. Tasty and tender, but no smoke flavor or appearance whatsoever. Others really enjoyed the fries! Didn’t try any dessert, but they had an interesting selection. We were told everything is house made. Nice place!!

11/26/2022 My wife and I recently moved to the area and have been looking forward to partaking of the local fare. My wife got the catfish poboy with homemade bread & butter pickes and homemade comeback aoli. I had the brisket plate with potato salad and collard greens. We shared and found each other’s meal as fantastic as our own. The crowning glory was the homemade red velvet cake and the homemade brown sugar praline cake (which was fresh from the oven and still warm!). The atmosphere is fresh and inviting and the staff has that good ole Southern hospitality (of course!). Can’t wait to savor the rest of the menu! We will definitely be making The Walking Pig a regular stop to dine.

This restaurant was great, great service and delicious steak Tacos the lunch special for today, the steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. Had to get a piece of the homemade cake to take with us. We stopped by here yesterday after we had already had lunch, so had to go back today , so glad we did, for sure one of the highlights to our visit to St. Joseph. PJV

This place is da bomb! It checks all the boxes in the way of food and service. The atmosphere is very nice...wide open dining room capped by a huge bar. The owner/chef has a wonderful sense of flavor profiling and comes up with some very interesting and delicious options.

The pulled pork sandwich with the Cole slaw was the best pulled pork I have ever had. Absolutely amazing! I can not recommend this place enough.
